Kandi's Fav Finds

I have never been the kind of person that follows trends or likes what is popular. I like things that are unique and timeless. Most of my top pieces we have only had once. A lot of the pieces are not brand name because to me that is not important. I'd rather have a one of a kind item than a brand named item. Of course there are some brand name pieces I love, but they didn't make my top 10 list.

This piece has a very unique design. This one does have legs but not what you think of with typical MCM. This would be perfect for a boho style home.

Two single dressers are hard to come by. I knew I had to get these when we saw them. These were pretty rough so we had to paint the drawers. They were missing some knobs so I found the perfect replacements. I loved the way these turned out and sold them within a few hours.

These chairs are simple with a little added flair. I love the curve at the top of them. They were in great condition and I reupholstered them to make them perfect

This dresser was in great condition and I liked that it had both knobs and finger pulls. The finger pulls had black backing to make it stand out and add some shape to the drawers. It is made by Harmony House.

This dresser looked almost new with very minimal wear. I liked the simplicity of it and that it is taller than most pieces. It has 8 drawers and the wooden pulls were very unique.

These chairs I have seen a few times and they are D-Scan. I love the design and they are made of teak wood which is one of my favs.

This dresser was a complete disaster when we got it. My husband thought I was crazy for even buying it. We usually like to keep our pieces original but this one had some damage that we couldn't repair and re-stain. We got creative and stained some drawers and painted the rest. We added some unique knobs and I think it turned out great.

This cabinet we completely refinished and the woodgrain is just gorgeous. This piece is pretty simple but I think the color and woodgrain make it stand out.

This headboard is made by Drexel but I have never seen another one. The design stands out to me and is unique for MCM.

This dresser is my all-time favorite. It is definitely not your typical mid century modern style. Not all MCM has to have the peg legs to be beautiful. I love the X pattern on the bottom drawers.
